This Privacy Policy describes how the Home Poker Cash Game app ("app", "we") collects, uses, stores and protects users' information. By using the app, you agree to the terms described below.
1. Who we are
Home Poker Cash Game is an Android app that helps groups of friends organize poker games (Texas Hold'em cash game): game scheduling, attendance confirmation, buy-in/rebuy/stack tracking, session closing, ranking and group history.

2. Data we collect
2.1. Account data
When you create an account or sign in with your Google Account, we collect your display name and email. If you use email/password login, your password is securely managed by Firebase Authentication and is never stored in plain text by the app.
You can also use the app in offline mode without signing in, in which case no account data is created.
2.2. App usage data (content you generate)
- Groups, players and game locations you register
- Scheduled games, attendance confirmations (RSVP) and reminders
- Game sessions: buy-ins, rebuys, stacks, balances and results
- Player profile photos, when you choose to add an image from your device's gallery. The photo is synced with Firestore so every group member can see the profile picture of each player who shared one.
- Statistics and ranking calculated from your game history
2.3. Purchase data
Premium subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not have access to credit card or payment data — this information is handled directly by Google Play, under Google's own privacy policy.
2.4. Technical data
We do not currently use analytics or behavior-tracking tools (e.g. Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics). The app uses Firebase Remote Config only to control feature rollout (feature flags), without collecting additional personal data for that purpose.
3. How we use your data
- Authenticate your account and sync your data across devices
- Display and share group information among players in the same group (e.g. balance, ranking, attendance confirmations)
- Send local notifications about scheduled games (confirmation, day-before and game-day reminders)
- Generate session result images for manual sharing (e.g. WhatsApp)
- Allow exporting session reports as PDF/Excel, at your request
- Process premium subscriptions via Google Play
- Improve the app's stability and functionality
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
4. Where data is stored
Locally on the device: the app works offline-first, using a local database (Room) and an internal cache of player photos.
In the cloud: when you're signed in, group data — including player profile photos — is synced with Firebase (Firestore), from Google Cloud, hosted in the southamerica-east1 region, so players in the same group can see the same information and photos in real time.
Your data is only visible to the members of the poker group(s) you belong to.
5. Permissions used by the app

You can revoke these permissions at any time in Android settings, though this may limit some features (e.g. without notification permission, you won't receive reminders).
6. Sharing with third parties
The app integrates with the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Remote Config) — account infrastructure and data sync.
- Google Play Billing — subscription processing.
- WhatsApp — only when you manually choose to share a result image; the app does not access your WhatsApp chats or contacts.
7. Data retention and deletion
Your account and group data are kept while your account is active. You can request full deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting the email in section 11. Data stored only locally on the device is removed when you uninstall the app.
8. Your rights (Brazilian LGPD)
Under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018), which applies to this app, you have the right to:
- Confirm the existence of data processing
- Access your data
- Correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data
- Request deletion or anonymization of data
- Withdraw consent previously given

9. Children and teenagers
The app is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If we identify data from a minor collected without proper authorization, it will be deleted.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The last-updated date will always be shown at the top of this document. Significant changes will be communicated within the app, when applicable.
